Help shape B.C.’s anti-racism data legislation
Posted on October 19, 2021
The collection of race-based data will allow the provincial government to better identify gaps in service delivery and legislation and create a more inclusive, equitable province.
The Province is conducting a public consultation process to help inform how to collect data in a way that is reflective of the needs and experiences of Indigenous, Black and People of Colour (IBPOC) communities.
Share your stories and experiences to help illuminate recurring themes and issues. The public engagement runs until Nov. 30, 2021, and is available in multiple languages here: https://engage.gov.bc.ca/antiracism/data
