What’s Happening Around BC

B.C.’s Human Rights Code

Posted on October 31, 2022

“B.C.’s Office of the Human Rights Commissioner exists to address the root causes of inequality, discrimination, and injustice in our province by shifting laws, policies, practices, and cultures. We do this work through education, research, advocacy, inquiry, and monitoring.”

A key piece of their work is to develop, deliver, and support research and education about human rights, which is why they have created a new, accessible video on the BC Human Rights Code.

The Resilience BC Anti-Racism Network realizes how important it is that everyone in B.C. has access to information about their rights and how to uphold them. We invite you to check out this valuable new tool and share it with your family, friends, colleagues, and collaborators in your community.
