This year’s Taking Action! Lecture Series featured Sophie Williams, an expert in the field of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, author of Anti-Racist Ally (2020) and Millennial Black (2021), TED Speaker, founder of the @OfficialMillennialBlack Instagram page, and intersectional equity consultant in the UK.
In this third installment of the series organized through the partnership between SFU Public Square and Resilience BC Anti-Racism Network, Sophie talked about active allyship in the workplace and daily life and discussed what it takes for people to begin this journey.
